A visually appealing cherry red color, this rosado is a beautiful hand-crafted wine. The grapes are carefully selected, then macerated for just six to eight hours to allow the subtle and elegant color to come through. It’s then fermented at low temperature in stainless steel. It’s easy to drink and refreshing—perfect for long summer days.
The Franck Massard Mas Amor Rosado has a light, delicate bouquet, with fruity, herbal notes and hints of lime and orange. It’s complex on the palate, dry but with a vibrant freshness that exudes fruity notes.
This easy drinking rosado is perfect with soft cheeses. Try it with Brie and Camembert with fruit jam. Drink it with starters like melon wrapped in prosciutto, barbecued vegetables skewers, or niçoise salad.
For your main course, the Franck Massard Mas Amor Rosado is brilliant with tomato-based dishes, shellfish, and light grilled meats. Enjoy it with sushi, paella, or smoked salmon.
Continue on to dessert with chocolate lava cake, peaches and ice cream, fruity sorbet, chocolate covered strawberries, or strawberry cheesecake.
Esteemed sommelier, Franck Massard, and an old friend (also a sommelier) acquired a vineyard in the Priorat region of Spain in 2004. This began their journey of acquiring even more knowledge in wine production. They produced 500 bottles with their first harvest, and proud as they were, they discovered that there is still much to learn in terms of skill, patience, and hard work. And they were determined to see it through.
They visited wine regions all across Spain, and met with farmers and explored extraordinary vineyards. Franck was inspired by the terroirs, and made it his mission and passion to create new wines from lesser-known regions, and to nurture nature to highlight what it could provide.
Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 5 to 7 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
