Tasting Notes From The Curator
Made with cashews from Palawan, pili nuts from Sorsogon, sugar from Negros, and cacao from Davao, Theo & Philo takes the best of different Philippine regions and combines them in a creamy and delectable spread.
It has a perfectly balanced nuttiness, without skimping on delicious chocolate flavor.
Preparation And Pairings
The Theo & Philo Cashew and Pili Chocolate Spread has such brilliant flavor, that it needs to shine. Spread it on some delicious but simple bread, like TPK&B’s Country Classic Sourdough. This spread knows no time, so have it for breakfast, lunch, or merienda. Or spooned straight out of the jar for a midnight snack.
From The Philippines To The World
Theo & Philo’s name comes from “Theobroma Cacao” and “philos,” making it a direct translation to “chocolate and love.” The name says everything you need to know about the group, who place fearless passion for chocolate and the Philippines at the heart of their mission. Single-origin, premium, and sustainable, their artisan chocolates are the first to put Philippine chocolate on the global stage, winning various international awards, and being sold in the United States, Europe, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Australia.
Storage Instructions
Store your jar in a cool, dry place, away from heat and sunlight, at about 18 to 20°C. Make sure to screw the lid on tight between uses to keep out moisture and contaminants.
