TASTING NOTES FROM THE CURATOR

The Auro Nibs Collection is a carefully curated box of six of Auro’s best chocolates with Cacao Nibs. They’re all made with the finest cacao beans from Davao’s lush tropical forests, sustainably-sourced from local farmers. Each bar is deliciously smooth, with carefully roasted cacao nibs adding a great crunchy texture.

You get two of each bar in the pack:

  • 64% Dark Chocolate with Cacao Nibs – A gluten, peanut, and treenut-free chocolate that is also vegan, this one is smooth and with just the right amount of bitterness. It won Bronze in the 2019 Academy of Chocolate Awards.
  • 42% Milk Chocolate with Cacao Nibs – This smooth, single-origin milk chocolate was also a Bronze winner for the 2019 Academy of Chocolate. It’s gluten-free, treenut-free, and peanut-free.
  • 32% White Chocolate with Cacao Nibs – Creamy, with a hint of bitterness from the nibs, this chocolate tastes almost like cookies and cream. It’s also gluten, treenut, and peanut-free.

PREPARATION AND PAIRINGS

Pair your dark chocolate with a Shiraz or a Cabernet Sauvignon, while milk chocolate pairs well with a Pinot Noir. White chocolate is sweeter, and balances well with bitter drinks like a cup of gourmet black coffee.

Storage Instructions

Store your chocolate block in a cool, dark place, ideally between 18 to 24°C. You can use the refrigerator, but place the chocolate in an airtight container to keep the moisture and humidity out—and retain its full range of flavors, of course!
