Sourced from the majestic Red Gum trees of Western Australia, A Buzz from the Bees Red Gum Honey has an activity level of TA35+. TA, which means “Total Activity,” pertains to the anti-microbial quality of Western Australian honey, where a higher TA indicates stronger anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties.
Guaranteed 100% natural, containing no preservatives or additives, this Red Gum Honey is a potent honey with a thick consistency. It has a dark amber—almost brown, color and has a distinctive aroma. It’s relatively mild in flavor, still bold but with a pleasant warmth.
PREPARATION AND PAIRINGS
The Red Gum Honey TA35+ is potent, and is a great “spoonful a day” kind of honey. But you can also enjoy it with food. Drizzle a bit of it over butter on fresh bread, or over your pancakes and waffles. Add extra nutritional value to your yogurt and oats, or pair it with some cheeses and fruit.

A Buzz from the Bees was established in 2010 by Kim Cheeseman, an avid beekeeper. His beekeeping career truly began at eight years old, when he and his father found an abandoned beehive on a roadside. He helped his parents sell honey at the local market, and this kickstarted his vision to share the pristine harvest of honey they would get each year to the rest of the world.
A Buzz from the Bees is truly passionate about honey. Their mission is to bring all-natural, sustainably-produced products from Western Australia. They use no additives, no pesticides, no chemicals, or preservatives. Today, A Buzz from the Bees exports honey, honeycombs, and balms all over Australia, Asia, and the Middle East.
Storage Instructions
Keep your honey in a cool location away from direct sunlight and make sure the container is tightly sealed. The ideal temperature for storage is from 13 to 21°C. Some manufacturers will set the expiry date of their jars at two years after the bottling date. However, honey can last decades or even centuries if stored properly. It may change color and become crystalized, but it will stay safe to eat. If your honey does crystallize, just place the open jar in warm water and stir until the crystals dissolve. Store in a cool dry place.
