PREPA­RA­TION OR PAIRINGS

Used exten¬≠sive¬≠ly in Mediter¬≠ranean, Span¬≠ish and Indi¬≠an cook¬≠ing, this aro¬≠mat¬≠ic and expen¬≠sive spice can be used in a wide array of prepa¬≠ra¬≠tions. Since heat allows saf¬≠fron to release its full fla¬≠vors, we rec¬≠om¬≠mend saf¬≠fron to be used in recipes that have a sub¬≠stan¬≠tial amount of liq¬≠uid, with a sim¬≠mer¬≠ing process that slow¬≠ly allows the flavours of this rare aro¬≠mat¬≠ic to bloom.
