The Auro Natural Cacao Powder is 100% all-natural and unsweetened. This non-alkalized powder is made from only the best cacao beans from Davao, unroasted and cold-pressed.
Cacao powder has the full concentration of chocolate, which means it has a very sharp, concentrated chocolate flavor. It’s slightly bitter and astringent, with an almost citrus finish.
PREPARATION AND PAIRINGS
This is pure cacao, and is a brilliant baking ingredient. Use it in your brownies, pies, cakes, cookies, and tarts. It’s great for frostings and ganache. You can also use it for hot chocolates and chocolate shakes. You can also make easy energy balls with it. All you need to do is blitz almonds, walnuts, oats, salt, and Auro Natural Cacao Power in a food processor. Add in chopped dates and some water, and roll the mixture into small balls and refrigerate.
