Pinkie's Farm Honey Greek Yogurt
Sweet as honey
Everything in the Pinkie’s Farm Honey Greek Yogurt is all-natural, and proudly local. Using only the best and freshest ingredients, this is a simple but scrumptious snack.
TASTING NOTES FROM THE CURATOR
Greek yogurt and honey are already a tried-and-tested classic combination. And Pinkie’s Farm levels it up with fresh and all-natural local ingredients. Pinkie’s Farm Honey Greek Yogurt is made with pasteurized milk from their own cows, so you know freshness is absolutely guaranteed. The addition of Palawan honey adds a uniquely sweet dimension to an already delicious treat.
It’s a seemingly simple jar of yogurt, but it packs a truly flavorful punch. The yogurt is tangy and refreshing, and the honey is sweet but not cloying.
PREPARATION AND PAIRINGS
This is a great go-to snack, and will be enjoyable for both adults and children. Have it as a light dessert after a heavy meal, or even as a snack while working or relaxing. It also makes making your yogurt and granola bowls even easier. Try it with any of the Pinkie’s Farm Hakuna Banana Granola, and some fresh fruit.
AN EXTRA STRAIN MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Greek yogurt is otherwise known as strained yogurt, meaning it’s been strained more times than regular yogurt (at least thrice). That extra straining removes most of the moisture and whey, making it thicker than regular yogurt, but still keeping that same tart taste. That also means that it has more protein and less sugar, but less carbohydrates and calcium. But both options are packed with probiotics, which are highly beneficial to digestion, weight loss, and heart health.
Immediately store your yogurt in the back portion of the fridge, never the door, at 4°C or below. Once out of the fridge, do consume it immediately! Do not leave yogurt at room temperature for more than 2 hours. When stored properly, the shelf-life of yogurt is seven to 14 days.
