Vignoble du Rêveur’s Un Instant Sur Terre is a Biodynamic wine made with a blend of Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and Riesling grapes from the AOC Alsace appellation. It has a deep hazy orange color, and an ABV of 14%. This is a wine that intense all throughout, with an effortless freshness. It has similar notes on the nose and the palate—bergamot, white tea, and honeycomb, with subtle minerality and salinity, and a long finish.
The Reveur Un Instant Sur Terre is good to pair with a number of dishes, like a vegetable dish, or a roast pork. Try it with a beef stew, or Asian dishes with a kick.
Mathieu Deiss grew up (and is still) part of Domaine Marcel Deiss, his father’s family domaine. And while he loves working on the vines and cellars of his family winery, he wanted something that was more of his own. In 2013, he and his partner, Emmanuelle Milan, decided to found Vignoble du Rêveur. He was left seven hectares by his uncle and grandfather, and in 2016, he took all that on, using his own know-how to create wines the way he wants. He decided to go back to the most traditional of methods—organic and biodynamic agriculture. Inspired by his maternal grandfather who fought for his own independence, Vignoble du Rêveur is Mathieu’s way of honoring that drive. Dreaming and building without limits, breaking rules, and loving the work.
Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
