The Oro del Desierto Picual Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made with 100% Picual olives from early harvests, and cold extracted in two phases. The olives are grown between five and 15 years, and are taken from a single estate.
A filtered olive oil, it exudes a strong green color. It is persistent on the nose, with a medium intensity, and aromas of fresh grass, with notes of fig plant and olive leaf. It has great, sharp character on the palate, with a noticeable bitterness that is not overwhelming. It has an aftertaste that gives grassy, leafy notes.

Oro del Desierto extra virgin olive oil is produced in Tabernas, in the province of Almeria. The qualities of the land in this area are ideal for producing extra virgin olive oil, as they receive roughly 3,000 hours of sunlight each year and have consistent temperatures for the majority of the year.
