This Oro del Desierto Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made exclusively with single estate, early harvest Hojiblanca olives, grown between 20 to 30 years. It has an intense gold color to it, with hues of green, and a very clean quality.
Wide and powerful on the nose, it is intensely fruity, with notes of apple, banana, and tomato. It gives way to hints of almonds and mint. On the palate, it starts soft, with notes of lettuce and almonds. Eventually, it moves toward a balance between bitter and spicy, with piquant notes that will linger at the aftertaste.

Oro del Desierto extra virgin olive oil is produced in Tabernas, in the province of Almeria. The qualities of the land in this area are ideal for producing extra virgin olive oil, as they receive roughly 3,000 hours of sunlight each year and have consistent temperatures for the majority of the year. Its organically farmed olives provide one of the top organic extra virgin olive oils in the world.
Olive oil should be stored in a cool, dry, dark cupboard, away from the heat and light. Choose a spot in the kitchen that’s away from the oven. The best temperature for storing oil is from 13 to 21°C.
