The La Ferme du Mont La Truffière Côtes du Rhône 2019 is made up of 50% Grenache grapes, blended with Roussanne, Marsanne, and Viognier varieties. With an ABV of 13.5%, it shines with a beautiful golden, jade color.
A fresh white wine, it offers a floral, mineral bouquet on the nose, with notes of citrus and exotic fruit. It’s smooth and elegant on the palate, with complex flavor notes of yellow-fleshed fruit, acacia honey, spices, and limestone. This wine is crisp and bright, with an incomparable freshness.
Enjoy the La Ferme du Mont La Truffière Côtes du Rhône 2019 as aperitif, with goat cheese, to start. Pair it with dishes like Peking duck, beef brisket, or ossobuco if you want hearty fare. If you prefer to enjoy it with lighter foods, it goes brilliantly with ceviche, vegetable ravioli, and even salmon and tuna dishes.
Stephane Vedeau has made a name for himself as a virtuoso of wine. He founded La Ferme du Mont, which moved to their present headquarters of Valres in 2010. He comes from a family of winemakers, and the passion that runs through his blood is very apparent. A truly gifted winemaker, he and his wines are universally praised by critics like Robert Parker. He pays exceptional attention to the vineyard, making sure to use the most natural ways of management possible. It was in 2011 that La Ferme du Mont began cultivating their grapes without any pesticides or fertilizers, just pure, 100% biodynamic practices. And they have continued with that practice since.
