Domaine Benjamin Leroux’s Saint-Romain “Sous Les Chateau” is made with 100% Chardonnay grapes pressed in whole clusters, fermented in foudres and barrels, and aged for 12 months. It’s a refreshing white wine with a pale-yellow color, and an ABV of 13%. It has aromas of honeysuckles and white flowers. It is a buttery and complex wine, juicy on the palate, with notes of sweet lemon, and a beautifully balanced finish.
The Benjamin Leroux Saint-Romain “Sous les Chateau” is great to pair with roast chicken or roast turkey. It’s also great with pesto or cream-based pastas, polenta, and baked salmon or tuna.
