This Gift Set contains three of Oro del Desierto’s best organic single-variety olive oils—Arbequina, Hojiblanca, and Picual.
The Arbequina is made with 100% organic Arbequina olives, and has a light golden-yellow color. A light and fruity oil, it has vegetal aromas with hints of banana, tropical fruit, parsley, and basil. It has strong flavors of lettuce, celery, and pine nut.
The Hojiblanca olive oil is made with exclusively organic Hojiblanca olives, and exudes a golden color with green hues. On the nose, you get fruity notes of almond, banana, and ripe tomato. On the palate, notes of sage, mint, basil, and black pepper.
And last but not least, the Picual is golden-green in color, and is made purely with 100% organic Picual olives. It’s strong and well-rounded, with aromas of ripe tomato and banana, with hints of black pepper and herb. Robust on the palate, it has vegetal notes and an almond finish.

Oro del Desierto extra virgin olive oil is produced in Tabernas, in the province of Almeria. The qualities of the land in this area are ideal for producing extra virgin olive oil, as they receive roughly 3,000 hours of sunlight each year and have consistent temperatures for the majority of the year. Its organically farmed olives provide one of the top organic extra virgin olive oils in the world.
Olive oil should be stored in a cool, dry, dark cupboard, away from the heat and light. Choose a spot in the kitchen that’s away from the oven. The best temperature for storing oil is from 13 to 21°C.
