A red wine with Montalcino DOC. Produced from vineyards located in the municipality of Montalcino with North-West exposure at 300m asl. resh, pure and clean on the palate, with pleasant fruit aromas.

This wine shows off an intense ruby red in color, almost purple. Made with 100% Sangiovese. On the palate, red fruits such as cherry and raspberry. On the nose, it evokes oaky and earthy hints with a wonderful aroma of orange zest. On the dry side. It is warm, soft and full; structured with well-present but velvety and non-aggressive tannins.
Tenute Silvio Nardi Rosso Di Montalcino DOC pairs perfectly well with grilled beef ribs, meaty and saucy pizza, cured deli meat and even lamb.
From Vineyard to Wine
The patience of the expert winemaker is what allows you to diversify the winemaking with an attention to detail that then makes the difference since in the Brunello bottle there is first of all the attachment to the essence of the vineyard. The vineyards of Tenute Silvio Nardi extend on the East and West sides of Montalcino on a mainly hilly area with altitudes from 140 meters to 480 meters above sea level. Nature has given Tenute Silvio Nardi’s land a mild climate, a rich and varied soil, an enviable position. Their wines are born from its heritage of differences and its precious balance.
Store unopened red wines in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 16 to 18°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
