The Château Pré la Lande Cuvèe Diane is a Biodynamic wine made with a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grape varietals. It’s been aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, and has an ABV of 13.5%. On the nose, you get aromas of vanilla, black fruits, and licorice. On the palate, it’s elegant and powerful, with subtle notes of cherry and coffee, and a smooth finish.
This Bordeaux blend is great to pair with red meats. Enjoy it with a good steak, or some grilled lamb. It’s also great with roast duck or roast chicken, and pastas with meat sauce.
Château Pré la Lande has been in the business of winemaking since 1860. It’s found on a hill overlooking the Vallée de la Dordogne, in the designation called Sainte-Foy Bordeaux (renamed Sainte-Foy Côtes de Bordeaux in 2016), one of the oldest in Gironde.
A maker of Biodynamic wines, Château Pré la Lande uses organic agriculture, working their soils and protecting their vines with natural mixes (herbal teas, liquid manures, plants, etc). They follow lunar cycles and planet placements, letting the world around them guide their winemaking. As a result, their vines flourish in pure and beautiful harmony with its environment. The earth gives back what you give it, and at Château Pré la Lande, the earth gives back its best.
Store unopened red wines in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 16 to 18°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
