A nice Bordeaux wine made of 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, unoaked but aged for one year in stainless steel vats. On the nose, fresh red fruits. Packs soft tannins and an incredibly silky texture. On the palate, some hints of cherry, blackberry and even some floral and vanilla essence. It is medium-bodied and a bit on the dry side.
Ideally served cold but surprisingly, some find this bottle beautiful to serve at room temperature. Works great with beef dishes as well as poultry.
For the price and the accolades that come with this wine, it is no surprise that it is of great value for the buck. Besides being from a quality family-driven wine estate, this particular bottle is also the 2020 award winner in the Kavino Choice Awards.
Store unopened red wines in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 16 to 18°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
