Soalheiro Mineral Rosé

TASTING NOTES FROM THE CURATORS

Aromatic and fresh, the Soalheiro Mineral Rosé is a blend of Alvarinho and Pinot Noir grapes, aged for at least six months in stainless steel. This delicate pink wine comes from the region of Minho IGP, and has an ABV of 12%. It’s a smooth wine, with an elegant structure, and fresh, fruity aromas. On the palate, it is crisp, with intense flavors and mineral notes.

PREPARATION AND PAIRINGS

Pair the Soalheiro Mineral Rosé with Asian and Mediterranean dishes; it’s great with sushi and sashimi, or caponata and hummus. Try it with salads, or pesto-based pastas. Enjoy it with dessert too, paired with a chocolate cake or mousse, or even fresh fruits.

PORTUGESE PIONEER

Soalheiro is a pioneer in Alvarinho wine creation, especially in the Monҫão e Melgaҫo region in Portugal. João António Cerdeira planted the first Alvarinho vine in 1974, giving birth to the first Alvarinho wine brand in Melgaҫo in 1982. Today, Soalheiro still perseveres with its incredible wines, trusting tradition, and the careful and incredible environment in which their vines grow.

Storage Instructions

Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 5 to 7 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
