Piquillo means “little beak” in Spanish, and these peppers are a coveted fruit in the region of Lodosa. El Navarrico’s Whole Piquillo Peppers Premium are roasted and peeled by hand in the traditional way, keeping all its incredible aromas, flavors, and texture intact. They have a deep scarlet color, and an intense flavor. They are not spicy, but sweet and tangy, with slightly smoky notes.

PREPARATION AND PAIRINGS

The El Navarrico Whole Piquillo Peppers Premium are great as a side to meat and fish dishes. They are also great stuffed with cheese, meats, or seafood as appetizer. You can even add them into your cream soups and hummus for a little extra flavor.
