Stefania Calugi Flat Bread Snacks with Truffle are great as a snack or as part of a meal. They can be eaten on their own, should the craving of truffles hit, or they can be matched with a variety of different courses. For pasta, they work well with pesto and cream sauce pastas. A truffle pasta with cream (a crowd favorite) would work, but the flavor of truffle in truffle would be wasted. A delicious carbonara paired with these truffle flatbread would be stunning. Stefania Calugi, due to demand for their products and proximity from the best truffle producing areas in Florence, moved to a larger plant in Castelfiorentino to have better access to the famous truffle areas of Sanminiatelli Hills and Crete Senesi. The current plant is equidistant from Florence, Pisa, and Siena.
