A nuttier caviar than the Baeri, it has medium sized eggs with elegant brown reflections. It is a beautiful caviar in the traditional French way.
This caviar would naturally be paired with a great champagne like the Laurent Perrier Cuvée Brut or the Billecart Salmon Brut. Eat as is, or on a blini with a spoonful of Echiré Creme Fraiche.
The Manufacture Prunier is the new production center of Prunier, on the Isle river. Originally focused on the production of the Baeri, it has since 2010 started to produce Oscietra caviar. The story of this manufacture traces back since 1920, when Prunier opened its first production centres on the Gironde. Prunier modernised in the 1990’s while being financed ( 1997 ) and purchased ( 2000 ) by iconic business man Pierre Bergé, the business and life partner of Yves Saint Laurent. The Manufacture hosts more than 150,000 sturgeons in open air.
