When you crave bread, you want it straightforward—just good bread. Naked Bakery will give you just that. Their Signature Sourdough Bread is a seamless blend of whole and refined grains, and is packed with flavor and complexity.

It’s crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, with that distinct sourdough tang that we love so much. It gives a great bite, and has well-spaced air pockets within. Just a classic, good quality, no nonsense bread.

The Naked Bakery Signature Sourdough Bread is best enjoyed simply, with a slathering of equally good butter (try our Echire butter), and some delicious fruity jam.

HOMEMADE WARMTH

The Naked Bakery is a discovery of which The Bow Tie Duck has always been proud. Found on Instagram by our founders at the height of the quarantine period in 2020, they were immediately captured by the distinct rustic look and the beautiful irregularity of the online bakery’s breads. No loaf ever looks exactly the same, but this was its main appeal—embracing its humble warmth, exuding a feeling akin to sinking into your couch after a long day. Like coming home.

Storage Instructions

Baked fresh on morning of expected delivery day. Best consumed upon arrival, but you can store it on the kitchen counter at room temperature for up to two days. If you’ve sliced into it, you can leave it cut side down on the chopping board. You may also place the sliced loaf in a ceramic bread box or a clean paper bag. Never store bread in the refrigerator, or else it will dry out. By the third day, you can place the bread in a large ziplock bag, but please note that the crust will soften and your bread will require toasting to refresh it. For storage up to three months in the freezer, wrap your bread in parchment paper and place it back in the ziplock bag.
