A true power couple, RJ and Vanessa Ledesma are Honorary Consuls to Monaco and Montenegro, respectively. As consuls, they work on building and maintaining good relations with these countries, both diplomatic and cultural, as well as ensuring proper and respectable treatment of Filipinos abroad.
They also founded Mercato Centrale, the food and lifestyle market, together. They aim to help out restaurants and small businesses, and create opportunities to help them grow.
Their chosen advocacies are Mercato SMEs, and Virlanie. The Mercato SME advocacy’s objective is to help small food entrepreneurs bounce back during this pandemic through programs that assist them in not only surviving as businesses, but in moving forward, as well.
The latter is an organization of more than 25 years that seeks to empower and protect disadvantaged children in the Philippines. Virlanie creates sustainable programs in health, education, and policy to help end intergenerational poverty.
