Made from a secret family recipe, this Modena classic by Fattoria Estense is authentic and completely natural balsamic vinegar, made only through traditional fermentation processes and aged in wood barrels.
It has a distinct and complex aroma, indicative of its authentic and natural quality. Its color is full of warm light, and its taste sharp, and more acidic.
An incredible and versatile ingredient, the Fattoria Estense Balsamic Vinegar is great on fresh salads, or on cooked pickled vegetables. How about making a honey-balsamic glaze to drizzle over some pork tenderloin or pork chops?
Fattoria Estense Balsamic Vinegar is made by the Alico company, a very well-established company built in the 80’s, and with a passion for making top quality Aceto Balsamico di Modena.
Known all over the world as makers of the finest aged vinegars, Alico products are all organic, have a PGI (Protected Geographical Indication), and follow International Food Standards. The Alico company itself is a member of the Protection Consortium of Aceto Balsamico di Modena.
Balsamic Vinegar should be stored in a cool, dry, dark cupboard, away from the heat and light. Choose a spot in the kitchen that’s away from the oven. The best temperature for storing vinegar is from 13 to 21°C.
