Minimalism and simplicity have been associated with Japanese culture long before it became popular in both fashion and lifestyle. Doing things simply, but with much care, thought, and respect for each component is part of what makes Japanese culture so interesting and beautiful. Husband-and-wife duo, Bryan and Maxine Kong, take great inspiration from this culture—from design, to flavor, to process. This is not the first Japanese-inspired culinary venture from Bryan, who opened Crazy Katsu in Teacher’s Village in Quezon City about a decade ago to great success. Kurīmu is their desserts offering, one that promises quality, authenticity, and deliciousness.
