These Philippine coffee beans come from the rich volcanic soil of Mt. Apo, and are part of the Curve Hardwork Series. It has a beautiful aromatic profile, intoxicating on the nose, and equally as powerful on the palate. Delicate and strong at the same time, Curve Hardwork Mt. Apo Natural Roasted Coffee yields flavor notes of spice, sugarcane, and lemon.

PREPARATION AND PAIRINGS

Curve Hardwork Mt. Apo Natural Roasted Coffee comes in whole beans that are roasted on demand, and will need to be ground. A general rule: the finer the grind size, the more extraction you get. The coarser the grind, the less extraction.

Finer ground coffee is closely packed, and will take water a longer time to pass through, resulting in an extract with a more intense flavor. Finer grounds are great for pour-over brewers. Coarser ground coffee, on the other hand, means water will mover quicker between the grounds, extracting only some of the flavor. This is good for brewers like the French Press, where it takes more time to get a perfect brew.

Storage Instructions

Store your coffee in an opaque, odor-free, airtight container in a dry, dark place at a cool room temperature. It’s best to consume coffee grounds within two weeks. Freshly roasted whole beans retain their freshness for up to one month.
