TASTING NOTES FROM THE CURATOR

The Valrhona Caramelia Crunchy Pearls are small globes of biscuit cereal coated in the iconic Valrhona Caramelia, a 36% cocoa milk chocolate. It has a subtle aroma, and has a distinct caramel flavor with hints of biscuits. It’s very delicious and chocolatey, with a nice crunch.

PREPARATION AND PAIRINGS

It’s pretty hard to not snack on these Caramelia Crunchy Pearls by Valrhona on their own, so we’re not going to tell you not to. You can even add them to trail mix for a more diverse snack, or make some granola bars. But they’re also great as an ingredient in mousses, cakes, brownies, cookies, and chocolate bars. Use them to decorate your baked goods, and top your ice creams!

Storage Instructions

Store your chocolate in a cool, dark place, ideally between 18 to 24°C. You can use the refrigerator, but place the chocolate in an airtight container to keep the moisture and humidity out—and retain its full range of flavors, of course!
