The Luc Baudet Côtes du Rhône “Rive Droite” Rouge is one of the finest examples of Grenache in the region. It is round and soft, and juicy, with a long, smooth finish.
This medium-bodied red wine is full and soft on the palate, with fruity notes. On the nose, it has aromas of red fruit jam and flower petals, with notes of nutmeg and cherry.
This is a wonderful wine to enjoy with some hard cheeses, like Parmigiano Reggiano, Gruyere, or Gouda. For cured meats, it will shine bright paired with Speck, Mortadella, and Coppa.
You can also have it with duck confit, grilled tuna, a well-cooked steak or a braised lamb. End your meal by pairing it with a chocolate pavlova with raspberries.
Between hundred-year-old olive trees and stately oak trees will you find Le Clos des Centenaires. With nature on their side—climate, deep soils, pebbles formed by the Rhône, sands, and clay, the vines that take root and grow are powerful and complex. They give grapes of magnificent quality, like delicate gifts as thanks for its careful and respectful cultivation.
These grapes are then meticulously chosen to create wines that reflect the splendor of its surroundings, and the passion of its makers.
Store unopened red wines in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 16 to 18°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
