Storage Instructions

Mitchell’s Backyard Brewery Honey Wheat Ale is a refreshing american wheat ale with a balanced bitterness that makes for a clean finish.

Pouring a beautiful golden-caramel colour with a decent white head and minimal lacing, the aroma promises of sweet honey and wheat flavours. A sip of this ale delivers on the flavours of honey sans the sugary sweetness you’d expect. Instead, this beer tastes of the floral flavours of spiced honey on top of yeasty, wheat notes typical of american wheat ales.

A refreshing, medium-light beer that’s great for pairing or enjoyed as an after-dinner drink. Great with seafood, salads and pizzas, this Honey Wheat Ale is great for days you’d rather swap a bottle of beer for a glass of white wine.

With a brewing history entwined with the well-loved Italian Restaurant in Katipunan, Gino’s Brick Oven Pizza, expect to enjoy this brew with slices of prosciutto pizza or prepare your own version of Gino’s creamy burrata salad with our Latteria Sorrentina Burrata Campana, fresh basil and heirloom tomatoes drizzled with a lashing of syrupy sweet Fattoria Estense Aged 3 Years Balsamic Vinegar.

Brewing small batch beers at the heart of Quezon City, Mitchell’s Backyard Brewery brews with a commitment to providing fresh, honest and delicious beers in Manila. Helmed by its owner and master brewer, James Mitchell, this sincere pursuit towards crafting quality brews has catapulted this local microbrewery to the international limelight.

Experience Mitchell’s range of award-winning brews curated and delivered straight to your doorstep by The Bow Tie Duck Team. Choose from their signature ales and lagers such as American Sunrise Pale Ale (a 2019 Silver Medal Winner in the 2019 Asia Beer Championship), Belgian Wheat Beer, Mocha Stout, and Hoptoberfest.

Store beer bottles upright to prevent yeast rings from appearing. They must be kept in a cool, dark place at approximately 13°C. Don’t allow beer to be caught in bright light for long periods of time to prevent it from attaining a “skunky” taste. It is recommended to place your beers in the chiller before serving or drinking. These beers are best enjoyed cold. Consume within 6 months.
