The Muma Sea Salt Gin is the first to use the purified waters of the Mediterranean Sea from Puglia, Italy. With an ABV of 41.8%, it uses iris, juniper, lemon and orange, chamomile, cinnamon, among others. It has clear, refreshing aromas, strong and delicates notes. It is soft and enveloping on the palate, with flavors of citrus and juniper, and fresh Mediterranean notes. The Muma Sea Salt Gin is fresh and summery, and is a beautiful balance of flavors.
You can enjoy your Muma Sea Salt Gin as is, on the rocks, or as a classic G&T. You can also use it for a Negroni or a French 75. You can also mix it white and dry vermouths, as well as grapefruit, lemon, or lime juice.
Muma Gin is a project headed by four entrepreneurs—Savino Muraglia, the Marinaro brothers, and Stefania Urso. Savino is a part of Frantoio Muraglia, a family tradition of superior quality olive oils. The Marinaros are from Birrificio Mata, and founded Mata di Cerignola Brewery; they have a long tradition of high-quality Italian craft beers. Stefania is not from a long line of Italian makers, but she is a highly praised marketing and communication professional. Together, these four combined six botanicals, two secret ingredients, and the clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea to create a gin that encapsulates the freshness and the vivacity of an Italian summer.
Store your bottle of gin upright in a cool, dark place, ideally between 13 and 16°C. Higher temperatures will affect its flavor and alter its taste. If you prefer to drink your gin cold all the time, you may keep it in the freezer, as its ABV percentage prevents it from freezing. Unopened bottles can last for an indefinite amount of time, but the closer you get to the bottom third of the bottle, please consume quickly to prevent oxidation and taste alteration.
