Yuzu is a classic citrus fruit from Asia. It has a strong tart flavor, with floral, almost sweet undertones. The Capfruit Yuzu Frozen Fruit Puree uses only the best quality yuzu, so its flavor is perfectly reflected and preserved, with no added sugars.
There are almost countless ways to use the Capfruit Yuzu Frozen Fruit Puree. On its own, add it into your tea, ponzu sauce, or salad dressings. You can also bake it into cakes, pies, tarts, cookies, and bars. It’s also great to flavor ice creams and sorbets. If you’re into making confectionary, use it to make chocolate fillings, truffles, and candies. If you’d rather use it for savory dishes, it’s great for marinades, glazes and sauces. And yes, you can use it for your drinks! Try it in cocktails like whiskey highball, or classic sour, and in your smoothies and shakes.
