Made from simple but high quality ingredients, the Batticuori, or “heartbeat” in Italian, has a full cocoa flavor that one can easily taste with every bite. Apart from its superb flavor, the biscuits are perfectly-baked and have an airy and crumbly texture. It is not hard to enjoy this cookie—just pop it in your mouth and chew, simple as that.

Pairings

As good as this cookies is eaten alone, it would also not hurt to try and dunk it or wash it down with milk or if one is of the caffeine-loving kind, a shot of Espresso Napoletano or other strong coffee with bold flavor would also be good.
