This is for people who want something with the perfect balance of sweet and bitter. The 1919 62% Dark Chocolate evokes dried fruit and caramelized coconut milk.
This Batangas bar is a shiny, deep brown color, dotted with the company’s signature hexagons. It’s perfect for when you want a dark chocolate, but just a little sweeter.
Have this as an after-dinner treat, with a nice, steaming cup of coffee. It will be the perfect meal-ender!
Karl and Kay are a husband-and-wife duo who are the brains behind 1919 Chocolate, a tree to bar cocoa company operating in Malvar, Batangas. Kay comes from a family of cacao farmers, and in 2019, after she brought home beans from their 100-year-old farm, Karl began a personal project: creating homemade chocolate bars. With the encouragement of friends and family, who had enjoyed their various creations, 1919 Chocolate PH was born.
Store your chocolates in a cool, dark place, ideally between 18 to 24°C. You can use the refrigerator, but place the chocolate in an airtight container to keep the moisture and humidity out—and retain its full range of flavors, of course!
