The original recipe for Fentimans Ginger Beer came into the hands when Thomas Fentiman, an iron puddler from Cleckheaton, England was approached by a fellow tradesman as a collateral for a loan. The debt was never repaid so Thomas became the owner of a recipe for botanically brewed ginger beer.
What began for the family as a business of producing botanically brewed ginger beer became an empire 100 years later. To adapt to the demands of an ever changing world, Fentimans has been producing a variety of drinks including their famed tonic water lineup. Currently the business is still in the Fentimans family and is owned by the Eldon, the Great Grandson of Thomas Fentiman.
Though they have stayed loyal to tradition, there is one thing that has not changed: the superior quality, craftsmanship and unsurpassed flavour of every drink.
