Frederic Brochet produced his first wine at the age of 11, using only three oak barrels, two small tanks, and a bucket. A few years later, in 1995, Ampelidae was born. It was in 2004 when he was joined by the owners of Chateau des Roches, Benjamin and Kate Meuli. They have been involved in the growth and the development of Ampiladae ever since, supported by a young and talented team. Together, they are putting Ampelidae on the map as an innovative and engaging company, producing excellent wines.
Fine sparkling wine must be handled with care. For short-term storage (a few days to a month), you can keep your bottle upright—but away from bright or artificial light. For long-term storage, especially for vintage cuvées, you must store the bottles on their side in a wine rack or cellar to keep the cork from drying out. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 10°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 1 to 3 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
