Fentimans Soda Water 24pc Case
The perfect mixer for any drink
A light, refreshing carbonated drink, the Fentimans Soda Water is the perfect mixer, adding a great dimension to your favorite drinks.
TASTING NOTES FROM THE CURATOR
Fentimans Soda Water is made with no artificial sweeteners, no artificial flavors, and no preservatives. It’s the perfect mixer for your drinks—just a light, finely carbonated soda water. The carbonation gives the water a slight bitter taste that gives a pleasant dimension to any drink you mix it with.
PREPARATION AND PAIRINGS
Soda water tastes mostly neutral, only really adding a complexity to drinks, which is why it’s such a great mixer.
Make a vodka soda by combining your favorite vodka with soda water, ice, and lime juice. A good London Dry, some lime, and Fentimans Soda Water will give you a refreshing Gin & Soda. Use it also to make a great mojito—spearmint leaves, lime, sugar, ice cubes, white rum, and soda water are all you need.
If you’re looking for something non-alcoholic, no problem! Make a sparkling lemonade by mixing Fentimans Soda Water with lemon juice and lemon zest. Or level up your iced coffee game by mixing soda water with cold brew coffee and ice—unexpectedly brilliant.
A LUCKY LOAN
The long, successful history of Fentimans began in 1905, when an iron puddler from Cleckheaton, England, Thomas Fentiman, gave out a loan to a fellow tradesman, with a recipe for botanically brewed ginger beer provided as security. The loan was never repaid, and so Thomas became the owner of a ginger beer recipe. He used it to his advantage, making botanically brewed ginger beer, and selling it door-to-door, transported by a horse and cart.
The logo of his company depicts the Fentimans’ faithful family dog, Fearless. She won the Crufts obedience class of 1933 and 1934, and Thomas, fond of her and exceedingly proud of her achievement, made her portrait their logo. Over a century later, and the business is still owned by the Fentiman family, continuing to produce delicious natural beverages, with updated processes but retaining that superior quality and craftsmanship that launched it 100 years ago
