Fentimans Ginger Beer
An award-winning classic
Botanically brewed using the same traditional recipe heralded by its founder, Thomas Fentiman, over 100 years ago, Fentimans award-winning Ginger Beer is a timeless favorite enjoyed by the world over.
TASTING NOTES FROM THE CURATOR
In contrast with ginger ales that are typically carbonated water infused with ginger flavorings, a true ginger beer is brewed with real ginger, giving it a deeper, more full-bodied ginger kick than a standard ale. Made with Chinese Ginger Roots and its 7-day Botanically Brewing process, Fentimans Ginger Beer has a distinctly fiery, ginger flavor, with fruity undertones brought about by blending pear juice, lemons and herbal infusions during the brewing process. With a distinct ginger topnote, it’s aroma is pungent, biting, yet sweet. It’s flavour is spicy and full-bodied, with a hint of fruity undertones. Every sip builds up the warmth and ginger spice at the back of your throat, leaving you with a pleasant tickle and burn long after you finish this Fentiman classic.
A premium adult soft drink, Fentiman’s Ginger Beer is best enjoyed chilled or over ice with a slice of lime. A versatile companion to your favorite tipple, it pairs well with any premium spirit, and even red wine! Try swapping your vodka with gin, for an exquisite Gin Mule or go the classic route with a fiery Dark n’ Stormy.
A Timeless Recipe Spanning Generations
The original recipe for Fentimans Ginger Beer came into the hands when Thomas Fentiman, an iron puddler from Cleckheaton, England was approached by a fellow tradesman as a collateral for a loan. The debt was never repaid so Thomas became the owner of a recipe for botanically brewed ginger beer.
What began for the family as a business of producing botanically brewed ginger beer became an empire 100 years later. To adapt to the demands of an ever changing world, Fentimans has been producing a variety of drinks including their famed tonic water lineup. Currently the business is still in the Fentimans family and is owned by the Eldon, the Great Grandson of Thomas Fentiman.
Though they have stayed loyal to tradition, there is one thing that has not changed: the superior quality, craftsmanship and unsurpassed flavour of every drink.
