The Loison Panettone Classic – Cappelliere Coppa is the classic Christmas treat. It’s made in Italy, and Loison uses only quality ingredients: eggs from safe farms, and fresh milk, butter, and cream that are produced in the mountains of Italy. It has a soft and moist crumb, with fruity and spicy aromas. It’s filled with raisins, orange and citron, and is absolutely delicious.
The Loison Panettone tastes like Christmas with every bite, and is the perfect gift to give for the Yuletide.
On a regular day, you can lightly toast a slice of it, and slather it with butter and drizzle with honey. You can even sprinkle a bit of cinnamon sugar to give it an additional oomph.
And closer to Christmas, it is perfect paired with hot chocolate, eggnog, or tea. You can also put some chocolate spread on it, or dip it in your ice cream. All these combinations will have you feeling the holiday spirit in no time!
It began in the late 1930’s, when Tranquillo Loison fell in love with making bread and traditional Venetian sweets, and decided to put up a bakery to sell them. Together with his son, Alexander, they were able to transform Loison from a small bakery into a strong and defining family business, even opening a new shop in 1969. Today, Tranquillo’s nephew, Dario heads Loison, and from 1992, has taken it to the international stage. All of Loison’s pastries are made with only the best and most carefully selected ingredients. And their secret? Matching tradition with modernity; using antique recipes with new flavors and innovative techniques. It’s how they remain relevant and popular despite the changing times, and why they will continue to do so.
Serve at room temperature. An opened Panettone can last as long as 45 days in room temperature given that it is stored back inside its bag. Do not throw out the bag. Store your leftover Panettone inside the bag and reseal before bringing out to serve again. Does not need refrigeration.
