TASTING NOTES FROM THE CURATOR

The Cedrata is a classic and traditional Italian soft drink. It’s not as known outside of Italy, but it is very loved by Italians. Its name comes from “cedro,” or “citron” in English, and is a large citrus fruit usually used in desserts in Southern Italy. The Cedrata is made with the infusion of Calabrian citrons.

Imperdibile means “unmissable” in Italian, and this captures this drink and tonic line from Fava Bibite impeccably—premium, with excellent ingredients. The Imperidibile Cedrata is refreshing and mildly sweet, with a bright quality, and a lingering zestiness from the citron. It contains no artificial sweeteners, colors, flavorings, or preservatives.

PREPARATION AND PAIRINGS

You can absolutely enjoy the Imperidibile Cedrata on its own. Simply pour it over a couple of ice cubes, and enjoy it with some light citrusy desserts. You can also use it as a mixer or an ingredient for cocktails; it works particularly well with gin.
