Made with the additions of flavorful white truffle, fresh leeks, and butter, this mushroom pâté is rich, creamy, and earthy in flavor. It’s a completely heavenly spread, owing to the slow and artisan process with which it’s made: every ingredient is sliced and sautéed with purpose.
We won’t blame you if you’re tempted to eat it straight out of the jar. But if you want to balance it out, this is a great spread for canapes. Take some sliced bread or crackers (like these ones from Paul & Pippa), spread some La Cuna Wild Mushrooms Pate & White Truffle Spread, and top with some pickled onions. Pair with a chilled white wine. We suggest this Soalheiro Alvarinho.
The company’s name, La Cuna, comes from the Spanish word that means “the cradle.” The name was born out of the founders’ desire for a constant reminder of their vision: recreating their childhood foods with the same love and care as it was at home. Each of their creations are made with 100% natural ingredients, and prepared carefully to bring out all the flavor it has to offer.
Store unopened containers of pâté in a cool, dry panty. Once opened, pâté will keep three to four days in the refrigerator. It can also be frozen for up to two months, though we recommend you consume it as soon as possible!
