Deep red in color, with a medium body, the Lionel Osmin & Cie Malbec Cahors has floral and plum notes on the nose. It’s dry on the palate, with notes of cocoa, dark berry, and oak. It has a beautiful structure, and a gorgeous balance of aromas and flavors.
The Malbec Cahors by Lionel Osmin & Cie pairs brilliantly with Camembert cheese for starters. It will also be incredible with beef and venison, with sauteed mushrooms, roasted and grilled meats, and coq au vin.
What started out as a passion project between a group of friends has grown into one of the most renowned wine brands. Lionel Osmin & Cie sought to create quality wine based on the wines they love from the South West, and with that love at the forefront, they traversed the vineyards of the region—from Jurançon to Cahors to Gaillac to Bergerac.
Lionel Osmin & Cie are proud to showcase their wines, all of which are faithful to their terroirs, and created with pure enjoyment and passion.
Store unopened red wines in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 16 to 18°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
