Merry Moo ice creams are made with fresh milk from healthy, pasture-grazing cows in Laguna. Churned in small batches and made with artisanal methods to ensure quality, their ice creams are creamy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.

Their Cookie Dough Ice Cream has that classic sweet, creamy base. Mixed into it are homemade edible cookie dough, chewy and tasty. There are also cacao nibs sprinkled in, just to add a little bite and contrast to the sweetness.

PREPARATION AND PAIRINGS

A classic flavor, Cookie Dough Ice Cream is great to enjoy all on its own. Put a few scoops into a bowl, and drizzle some rich chocolate sauce for a rich treat. Level up the indulgence by making a sundae: layer your Merry Moo Cookie Dough Ice Cream with hot fudge sauce, then top with whipped cream, more hot fudge sauce, some caramel sauce, crushed peanuts, and a freshly baked cookie. You can also make an easy ice cream sandwich by adding a scoop between two freshly baked cookies. Easy, decadent, delicious.

TRENDSETTER, GAMECHANGER

A flavor that has amassed a cult-like following, Cookie Dough ice cream is widely believed to have been originated by Ben & Jerry’s (the brand it’s most usually associated with). It was conceived in their first scoop shop in Vermont in 1984, after a suggestion that was anonymously written on their flavor suggestion board. It quickly became popular, and in 1991, they started selling it by the pint. And within a year, Cookie Dough accounted for 20% of their total ice cream sales.

Storage Instructions

Store ice cream in the main part of the freezer. Do not store ice cream in the freezer door, where ice cream can be subject to more fluctuating temperatures since the door is repeatedly open and shut. Keep the ice cream container lid tightly closed when storing in the freezer to reduce the formation of ice crystals.
