TPK&B Sourdough Cookies
Cookies with a twist
Yet another incredible treat from The Penthouse Kitchen & Bakery comes to Bow Tie Duck! TPK&B is known for their delicious breads, but let us introduce you to their equally amazing cookies.
TASTING NOTES FROM THE CURATOR
TPK&B Sourdough Cookies come in four different varieties, all of which are scrumptious, chewy, and full of flavor. They’re all made with sourdough discard, giving them a unique tang, and adding to their delightfulness.
- OG – Chocolate chip. The classic that needs little introduction. But TPK&B levels up an icon with sourdough, giving it a welcome twist.
- PB&O – Aka Peanut Butter & Oatmeal. This cookie is made with sourdough, peanut butter, oatmeal, and chocolate chips. It’s a beautiful contrast of sweet and salty, with great texture from the oats.
- BB – BB is Burnt Butter, but don’t let that dissuade you. Burnt butter is delicious, and adds a gorgeous nutty flavor to this cookie, that also contains caramel chips, and sourdough.
- RED – Beets, a bit of dark cocoa, sourdough, and Callebaut rubies—this upgraded version of red velvet sandwiches delicious, classic cream cheese filling. It’s chewy, flavorful, and so yummy.
PREPARATION AND PAIRINGS
These cookies can be eaten on their own. We won’t judge if you finish them all yourself—they’re really good! Enjoy them with a glass of milk, or any of our wide variety of coffees. A perfect midday snack.
WITH LOVE FROM HOME
We are delighted to shine a spotlight on our favorite home bakers, and this takes the cake (or the bread!) Our connection with TPK&B started as a serendipitous meeting over the love of food. TPK&B’s head boss has been a seasoned client of The Bow Tie Duck for a while, and we are happy not only to be serving her with the best fine foods, but also to be enjoying the lovely produce that emerges from her home bakery, and getting the chance to share it with everyone else.
Baked with love, TPK&B prepares your breads in the mornings of your expected delivery day. To ensure that you get to enjoy this with the best experience, we encourage you to indulge as soon as you receive your loaves.
Store your cookies in an airtight container, and consume within 7 days. To keep them soft and chewy, place a slice of white bread in the container with the cookies (the cookies absorb the bread’s moisture, keeping them soft).
