A special treat from Madge’s kitchen, these scones are packed with dried cranberries and creamy white chocolate — a sweet delight best enjoyed warm, but just as lovely straight from the bag.

Tasting notes of the Curator

These Cranberry & White Chocolate Scones are everything a sweet scone should be: golden-edged, soft-centered, and studded generously with chewy cranberries and luscious white chocolate chunks. Each bite is a little journey — the cranberries bring a pop of tangy brightness, while the white chocolate melts into pockets of silky sweetness. The dough itself is simple and honest, made from plain wheat flour, butter, milk, sugar, baking powder, and a touch of salt. No fancy glazes or fillings — just the timeless joy of balanced flavor, made by hand. Best enjoyed warm to let the chocolate soften and bloom, but also perfectly satisfying eaten cold as a grab-and-go snack. They require no adornments — no jam, no cream — just a good moment and maybe a cup of tea.

You may avail of the scones: Fresh (on pre-order) or Frozen ( Express delivery to Metro Manila / Available for Nationwide locations)

Pairings and Suggestions

  • Serve Warm: Gently reheat for a melty white chocolate experience that brings the scone to life.
  • Enjoy Cold: They hold beautifully at room temp — ideal for packed lunches, road trips, or quiet pantry snacking.
  • With Tea or Coffee: Best paired with a bold brew like English Breakfast or a creamy flat white.
  • Sweet Companion: Add a swipe of salted butter if you must — but they truly shine on their own.
  • Dessert Upgrade: Halve and sandwich with vanilla ice cream for a decadent post-dinner bite.

A Sweet Twist on Tradition

Madge may be known for her traditional bakes, but every now and then, she lets her sweet tooth lead the way. This scone was born from those quiet kitchen experiments — a way to balance buttery richness with tart cheer. Dried cranberries add a gentle zing and chew, while white chocolate adds a mellow sweetness that melts into the crumb. The result is a scone that feels like a treat but never tips into excess. It’s not trying to be a dessert. It’s just being really, really good — and that’s enough.

Storage Instructions

For your Fresh Scones:

Madge’s Scones are baked fresh on the morning of your scheduled delivery and sent out at peak softness — tender, crumbly, and golden-topped. They arrive at room temperature and are ready to serve or store.

  • Refrigerate: Keep in their packing or transfer to an airtight container. Best enjoyed within 2–3 days from the date of arrival.
  • Freeze: If not enjoying right away, place them in the freezer as soon as possible. They’re suitable for freezing for up to 2 months, but we recommend freezing within 24 hours of arrival to lock in their delicate texture.

To serve, you may enjoy them as-is or warm gently in the oven or toaster oven for 5–7 minutes at 160°C (320°F) to bring back their just-baked charm. Best served with butter, jam, clotted cream — or all of the above.

For your Frozen Scones:

Madge’s Scones are frozen on the same day they’re baked to preserve their freshly-baked goodness. Here’s how to bring them back to life:

  • Oven Method (Recommended): Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F). Place frozen scones on a baking tray and heat for 10–12 minutes until warm and lightly crisp on the outside. Let cool slightly before serving.
  • Toaster Oven Method: Place a frozen scone on a tray or foil and heat at 160°C (320°F) for 8–10 minutes.
  • Microwave Method: Wrap a single frozen scone in a paper towel and microwave on medium for 30–45 seconds. Note: This softens the scone but won’t give a crisp top. You may finish with a quick toast if desired.
  • Room Temperature Thaw (Cold Option): Some people like their scones cold. To achieve this, thaw overnight in the fridge. Once thawed, they’re ready to eat. For best texture, thaw uncovered or loosely wrapped to avoid moisture buildup.
