Enjoy a crusty French Sour­dough Baguette., baked fresh before deliv­ery by one of our favorite bak­eries, The Pent­house Kitchen & Bak­ery, along­side the Queen of French But­ters, ÉchirĂ© But­ter AOP which has held an Appel­la­tion d’Origine Pro­tĂ©gĂ©e (AOP) sta­tus since 1992 and is cer­ti­fied Non-GMO. You may as well enjoy the bread with some pre­served duck foie gras from the famous Godard-Cham­bon & Mar­rel — which is a joint ven­ture of Mai­son Godard (found­ed in 1878) and Mai­son Cham­bon & Mar­rel ( one of the old­est truf­fle mer­chants in France). 

For your char­cu­terie board or even your main course, a condi­ment you def­i­nite­ly need is Pom­mery Moutarde de Meaux. The crown jew­el of mus­tards, a pantry sta­ple for French kings and queens since 1632. This mus­tard offers a robust grain with a bal­anced, slight­ly nut­ty flavour. A dar­ling of pro­fes­sion­al chefs and kitchens, this ver­sa­tile mus­tard is per­fect for your char­cu­terie, dips and sauces.

Need a French wine to tie it all up? We raise a glass of this French red, Les Volets Pinot Noir, Pays de la Haute Val­lĂ©e de l’Aude, to the lovers of Pinot Noir. A smooth and refined red wine exud­ing fruity aro­mas that con­tin­ue on to the palate. A love affair with a seri­ous Pinot like this could be deli­cious­ly dan­ger­ous but def­i­nite­ly worth it.

Stor­age Instructions

ÉchirĂ© But­ter AOP — The shelf life of the ÉchirĂ© But­ter is 2 months, kept refrig­er­at­ed. Shelf life can be pro­longed by freezing. 

Godard-Cham­bon & Mar­rel Bloc of Duck Foie Gras — Unopened tins of foie gras can be kept in the pantry for up to 4 years at a tem­per­a­ture of 10 to 15°C. Once you open the tin, trans­fer the foie gras into an air­tight glass con­tain­er and it will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days. Bring it to room tem­per­a­ture before serving.

Pom­mery Moutarde de Meaux — Keep in a dry dark place. Pack­aged in a beau­ti­ful stoneware jar, Pom­mery Mus­tards have an excep­tion­al shelf-life. Its stoneware pot pre­vents UV light from pass­ing through as does its cork stop­per sealed in wax. You can eas­i­ly keep it for two years in a cool dry place even after open­ing. Refrig­er­a­tion is not necessary. 

Les Volets Pinot Noir, Pays de la Haute Val­lĂ©e de l’Aude — Store unopened red wines in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from con­stant vibra­tion. Keep your bot­tle hor­i­zon­tal in a wine rack or cel­lar to retain the moist­ness of the cork. The ide­al tem­per­a­ture for stor­age is between 16 to 18°C. Once opened, a bot­tle will be good for 3 to 5 days stand­ing upright in the refrigerator.
