Angelina Mont Blanc Tea is a black tea with pieces of papaya and apple, aromas (maple syrup, candied apricot, orange blossom, toffee caramel, marron glacé). The combination of these ingredients creates a unique flavor profile that is both sweet and gourmet. The papaya and apple add a subtle sweetness to the tea while the aromas of maple syrup, candied apricot, orange blossom and caramel bring out its warm notes.
This tasty tea pairs perfectly with sweet treats for a comforting and gourmet moment. It can also be enjoyed on its own as an afternoon pick-me-up or as an after dinner drink. It can also be served cold for a refreshing summer beverage.
Let’s go back to the 1900s when Paris blossomed both artistically and intellectually at an incredible rate. Writers, painters and politicians congregated in cafés and restaurants - as well as the tea rooms which were the latest place to be. In 1903, confectioner Anton Rumpelmayer founded Angelina with his son René - a tea house at No.226 Rue de Rivoli named after his daughter-in-law. Art Nouveau represents a style as much as it does an era - the interior designed by Edouard-Jean Niermans combines elegance, charm and refinement to create a sense of romanticism and poetry that still exists today in Angelina’s tearoom.
