Joseph Drouhin Rully Rouge 2018 Macerated and vinified in controlled temperatures for two to three weeks, then aged in French oak barrels for 12 to 15 months, the Joseph Drouhin Rully Rouge is an aromatically expressive wine. It has a dark plum-red color, and is beautifully structured and well-balanced.
It’s refined on the nose, with notes of raspberry, gooseberry, red currant, and blackberry. With age, these aromas evolve to that of syrup and tobacco, with earthy notes. Its fresh, velvety texture is welcome and pleasing on the palate, with flavor notes of strawberry, fresh red fruit, and cherry. It’s an easy to drink red, one that will last a whole meal.
