Tasting Notes from The Curator
Archipelago Botanical Gin or ARC Gin for short offers fresh highlights of pomelo and calamansi, with earthy coriander, savory juniper, pine and a rounding of mango on the nose. Hints of perfumed lavender are also evident.
On the palate, you taste fresh pomelo, dalandan and calamansi, pine juniper spice. It maintains a floral dryness from the angelica and chamomile, with notes of lemongrass, cinnamon and black pepper.
The finish is cean and balanced. Juniper, citrus, with cooling notes from lemon balm and spicy cardamom.
This masterpiece of a gin is unfiltered and leads to clouding when properly chilled — truly a flavor you can see! Simply enjoy on the rocks, or in any gin cocktail of choice- a martini, gin & tonic or negroni.
A Grandfather’s Legacy
The story of Full Circle Craft Distillers started from a grandfather’s legacy. A journey from Alsace to Saint Petersburg to the Pearl of the Orient, Master Distiller Peter Westfall arrived in Manila in 1918 and found an opportunity to apply his unique knowledge and expertise at a local brewery. Tinkering with tropical fruits and botanicals to extract their exotic flavors and aromas, Peter’s groundbreaking work led to inventions that we endure today.
At present, the distillery is still owned by the same family who respectfully embraces the time-honored traditions of precision and craft, just as much as Peter Westfall’s own commitment to excellence and precision with handcrafted artisanal spirits.
Store your bottle of gin upright in a cool, dark place, ideally between 13 and 16°C. Higher temperatures will affect its flavor and alter its taste. If you prefer to drink your gin cold all the time, you may keep it in the freezer, as its ABV percentage prevents it from freezing. Unopened bottles can last for an indefinite amount of time, but the closer you get to the bottom third of the bottle, please consume quickly to prevent oxidation and taste alteration.
