Living up to its name, the Lucaffe Exquisit is a high-quality blend of carefully selected beans—90% Arabica and 10% Robusta. It’s roasted using traditional Italian methods, and results in a creamy coffee that exudes aromas of toasted almonds and chocolate. It’s a full-bodied but delicate coffee, with a very rounded, intense flavor.
The Lucaffe Exquisit is best enjoyed slowly, sipped carefully on a relaxing weekend morning, unhurried and savored. It’s wonderful on its own, but will complement a few bites of dark chocolate brilliantly.
Lucaffe was founded by Gian Luca Venturelli, and began its life as a small artisan coffee roaster in 1996, on the shores of Lake Garda. It grew rapidly, and became a significant coffee supplier in Italy, and even further expansion brought its headquarters to Carpenedolo (Brescia) in 2004. They can now be found in over 50 countries, including coffee shops and cafes under the Lucaffe name. They also specialize in the innovative packaging of coffee and espresso in paper pods, which are 100% environment-friendly, sustainable, and compostable.
Store your coffee in an opaque, odor-free, airtight container in a dry, dark place at a cool room temperature. It’s best to consume coffee grounds within two weeks. Freshly roasted whole beans retain their freshness for up to one month.
