Tasting Notes From The Curator
Espresso at its best, the Lucaffe Classic Whole Bean Coffee is a great blend of 80% Arabica and 20% Robusta beans. It’s soft and sweet—a truly classic Italian espresso. With an intense aroma, it has sweet, nutty notes, and a refined, balanced smoothness on the palate.
Preparation And Pairings
The Lucaffe Classic is a very rewarding coffee. This is perfect for anyone who loves a good cup of coffee, and is a wonderful pairing for simple breakfasts. Enjoy it too after dinner, with a square of fudgy brownie, or a slice of cake.
Quality And Innovation
Lucaffe was founded by Gian Luca Venturelli, and began its life as a small artisan coffee roaster in 1996, on the shores of Lake Garda. It grew rapidly, and became a significant coffee supplier in Italy, and even further expansion brought its headquarters to Carpenedolo (Brescia) in 2004. They can now be found in over 50 countries, including coffee shops and cafes under the Lucaffe name. They also specialize in the innovative packaging of coffee and espresso in paper pods, which are 100% environment-friendly, sustainable, and compostable.
Storage Instructions
Store your coffee in an opaque, odor-free, airtight container in a dry, dark place at a cool room temperature. It’s best to consume coffee grounds within two weeks. Freshly roasted whole beans retain their freshness for up to one month.
