NOTES FROM THE CURATOR
Bodegas Roda Sela 2017
With its bright red color, the Bodegas Roda Sela is very tasty and makes an excellent glass. It’s no wonder it scored a 91 on Robert Parker! Made with Tempranillo, Graciano, and Garnacha grape varietals, this red wine aged for 12 months in semi-new 100% French oak barrels to achieve its freshness and power.
This consistently excellent wine is cheerful on the nose, clean and precise, with notes of ripe and red fruit—raspberries and strawberries—and oak. It’s fruity on the palate, giving flavors of ripe red berries. It is velvety, full, and round-textured in the mouth, and with a lively sort of freshness.
La Prudencia Iberico Back Ribs
With an incredible flavor, succulent and tender texture, the Iberico Back Ribs are unlike any other. Taken from the black pigs native to the Iberian Peninsula, these free-range pork are marbled with fat similar to Wagyu. These are fall-off-the-bone, melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It’s a deeply sweet pork with a savory finish that lingers on your tongue in the best way.
Red wine -Store unopened red wines in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 16 to 18°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
Ribs - Your cut of Iberico ribs comes frozen and vacuum packed. Store in freezer. Thaw only when about to cook. Cooked leftover meat can only be kept in the fridge for 3 to 4 more days. Consume immediately.
